Should be fun.

You’re the first (or at least the first to say you solved it)! There are many puzzles in the rulebook, some very easy, some extremely difficult. Many haven’t been figured out yet after almost two years!

Many many hours Phil, Jeff, and I sat around a grid tossing 4, 8, 10, and 20 sided dice while attacking the unknown and, of course, coming out victorious. Dungeons and Dragons was not only a great time, it taught us at a very young age to work together, plan together, think creatively, and most importantly, taught us that it is sometimes better NOT to fight but instead try to talk with the unknown monster aproaching us.D&D will always have a special place in my heart. Farewell Gary…Mark

We lived there when i was born in 1970 and moved when I was in 2nd grade in 1977 iirc. This was the house that my Dad lived in when D&D was written. I remember putting together game components for Dungeon and other games in the basement. There was a sandtable for Chainmail in the basement as well as my Dad’s shoe repair equipment. He was a cobbler for a few years before he quit to be a full time game designer.
